Join us in El Dorado County for a 2 day wine tasting and whitewater rafting adventure! Spend your first day being chauffeured around sipping wine from local vintners. On day 2 enjoy a whitewater adventure on the South Fork American River Chili Bar Run!
Amazing riverside camping and meals are included with this unique offering only available thru RaftCalifornia! We understand that groups may vary, and we will tailor your day to your desires!
You can also arrange to stay at our camp the night before your trip!
9:00AM – Meet at our private riverside camp. We meet early to allow you to set up your overnight gear. It is a leisurely start to your first day…You can also arrange to stay at our camp the night before your trip!
10:30AM – Depart camp for wine tasting! We typically spend 45 minutes at each winery.
11:00AM to 12:30PM – Wine tasting at a couple of the best wineries in El Dorado County.
12:30PM to 1:30PM – Lunch at a local restaurant, often Morty’s Grill in Apple Hill.
1:30PM – Back to tasting!
4:00PM/5:00PM – Return to camp
6:00PM to 9:00PM – Appetizers, Dinner and riverside camaraderie
10:00PM to 7:00AM – County mandated “Quiet Hours”. You are welcome to chat within your group, but please no loud partying within these hours.
7:30AM – Coffee, Tea and other hot drinks
8:00AM to 8:45AM – Breakfast
9:00AM to 9:30AM – Shuttle to Put In
9:30AM to 10:00AM – Trip prep and Safety Talk
10:00AM to 1:00PM – Rafting the South Fork American River Chili Bar Run
1:15PM to 2:00PM – Lunch back at camp
2:00PM to 4:00PM – Fond farewells after 2 days of making new memories. You are welcome to enjoy the river at our private camp after your trip. We ask that you please depart by 4:00PM.
