Our South Fork American River white water rafting trips offer something for everyone. Trips range in length from 1/2 day to multi-day adventures with options for kids ages 4+. Trips launch directly from our private campground that is located directly on the river. Our multi-day trips include camping and our 1/2 day and 1 day trips allow the option to add-on camping. Plus the South Fork of the American River is close to Sacramento and only a few hours from San Francisco, you can easily make it a day trip or weekend getaway.

Our South Fork American river trips offer a safe and fun way to create wonderful family memories. 1/2 day, full day or multi day – you do not have to be a serious camper to appreciate an overnight river rafting trip. Tributary specializes in overnight rafting trips, we believe it is the best way to experience a river trip. Bring your own tent and gear for most of these options, you can also rent a Canvas Tent (available for nights at our South Fork American River Campground) for a glamping experience!
