Cancellations / Refunds

Due to our limited trip sizes, we turn away others once your reservation has been submitted. If you must cancel your trip, please notify us as soon as possible.

If you cancel 21+ days before your rafting trip: Upon receipt of a written notice, you will receive a refund (less your deposit).
If you cancel within 21 days of the trip: Sorry no refunds. A trip credit may be available for the price you paid (less your deposit).
The above cancellation policy also applies to changes in the number of people on your reservation. You are welcome to substitute another person with no penalty. 

Although it is highly unlikely, we reserve the right to cancel or modify a trip due to insufficient reservations, water conditions, weather, or other conditions beyond our control.

Responsibility / Trip Insurance

Despite the safety of rafting, prospective participants must understand that all river voyages involve some risk. Tributary Whitewater assumes no responsibility for injury to trip members, their personal belongings, or for time or expense incurred. We therefore require all trip members to sign a liability release and assumption of risk form prior to embarking on a trip. The determination of any participant’s fitness for a river trip is the sole responsibility of said participant.

Trip cancellation, accident and baggage insurance is very important. Such coverage will protect you against the possibility of expensive emergency medical aid or evacuation, loss of baggage due to theft or damage, and cancellation of your trip due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances.
