A California whitewater rafting trip is the perfect adventure for Bachelor and Bachelorette party groups! The American River is the most popular for rafting in Northern California with lots of options from Mild to Wild! Our river trips are offered from April-September with rivers near popular locations like Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, and Sacramento. We offer 1/2 day, full day and overnight rafting trips so we are sure to have something the bride or groom will love!
Our American River and Truckee River rafting trips are the most popular options. These are located close to lots of lodging options as well as restaurants, and party scenes. Wineries and Breweries are also abundant in the area with local varietals and double IPA’s for your tasting pleasure – some can accommodate a group party with transportation. Roseville (about 30 minutes east of Sacramento) as has a more “Exciting Nightlife” with plenty of hotels and transportation, the Thunder Valley Casino (29 miles, 36 mins from the Sacramento Airport) has much to offer with several bars (one is poolside), modern rooms and amenities, and of course…the casino!

Rafting Near Lake Tahoe:
1/2 day trips on the 7 mile Truckee River run are within 35 minutes of Reno and Lake Tahoe’s North Shore, and about 1 hr. from the South Lake Tahoe area, which is a favorite spot for those looking for a party, nightlife and gambling! This trip is great for those on a tight schedule, but be sure to book well in advance as these trips fill up!
Challenging Spring Rafting Trips:
The North Yuba River has a variety of options from 1-4 days of Class 4-5 rapids – these runs are for very adventurous rafters (swimming required and sometimes previous paddling experience), and can also be combined with the North Fork American River! Offered in the spring only as this is a naturally flowing river (the others mentioned are dam released flows) with beautiful scenery, unique wildlife, and a private campground for over-nighters.
Alcohol Policy:
For safety reasons, alcohol is not permitted while “on river” during a white water rafting trip.
For 1/2 day and 1 day trips: All activities are “on river” and alcohol is not permitted at anytime during these adventures.
For multi-day Rafting & Camping trips: Participants are welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverages for consumption at our overnight campsites. While “on river” and rafting we do not permit drinking for safety purposes.
