TRIP OVERVIEW

Raft and explore the South Fork American River and Quarry Park Adventure all in one trip! Raft the Class III Gorge section of the river on day one and spend day two climbing and zipping around Quarry Park Adventures in Rocklin. Top it off with two days of camping at our private American River campground for the ultimate outdoor experience.

This is a custom trip experience available for groups of 6 or more people. Reach out to us and we will work with you to curate a trip that best accommodates your group.

Water flows in the South Fork American River result from releases from hydroelectric facilities located upstream. Such water releases are not subject to the control of El Dorado County or rafting companies operating under Permits from the County of El Dorado.

Trip Itinerary

Camping at our South Fork Campground is included with this trip. Arrive anytime between 4pm-8pm the night before your adventure begins.

Day 1: White Water Rafting

  • Coffee, Tea and other hot drinks in the morning after you awake to the sound of the river
  • Breakfast @ camp
  • Mid-Morning we will load a shuttle for a short ride up to the put in
  • Raft a few miles of Class II
  • Stop back at camp for lunch around noon
  • More rafting after lunch on the Class III Gorge section of the South Fork
  • Return to camp around 4:30PM
  • Appetizers, Dinner and riverside camaraderie
  • County mandated “Quiet Hours”. You are welcome to chat within your group, but please no loud partying within the hours of 10pm to 7am.

Day 2: Quarry Park Adventures

  • Breakfast @ camp
  • Depart camp for the Quarry Park guests drive personal vehicles & your guide from Day 1 will meet you there
  • 2 hours of play at the park (each activity takes about 30-45 minutes)
  • Deli Lunch right there at the park prepared by your guide
  • 2 more hours of ropes play
  • Fond farewells after 2 days of making new memories. You are welcome to enjoy the river at our private camp after your trip.

Camping

  • Tributary Campground – Lotus, CA
    Many of our multi-day American River trips include camping at our private campground, located directly on the South Fork of the American River. Extend your trip and camp with us at our private riverside campground before or after your rafting adventure.
  • Consumnes River Ranch – Plymouth, CA
    One of our preferred partners! This is an amazing private property on the Consumnes River with tent camping, glamping cabins, stone barn for weddings and more.
