Hells Canyon white water rafting trips on the Snake River in Oregon are a sought after unique outdoor camping adventure. Spend four days on the deepest naturally carved river canyon exploring, relaxing and maybe getting in some history and geology at the same time. The Snake River and plains around it hold stories from the Oregon Trail, Lewis and Clark Expedition, Nez Perce and Shoshone Native American tribes and inhabitants dating back over 11,000 years.
Camping
All of the camping gear is provided and set up in advance of your arrival. Tent, cot and pad… all you need is your pillow and sleeping bag. Guides do all the work to set up camp and prepare lovely riverside meals. Try out some of the lawn games or take a dip in the river to cool off. Nothing beats sitting in your chair in the sand with your feet in the river. We use only the highest quality gear and serve fresh and tasty meals.
Fishing & Wildlife
Fishing is prevalent and the Snake River is home to many species including bass, trout, sturgeon and steelhead. A fishing license is required from either Oregon or Idaho to fish from the boats, but you must hold that states license to fish from it’s shore.
The Snake River basin is home to many other animals including bighorn sheep, bald eagles, whooping cranes and grizzly bear.
