Our Doors are Always Open

July 18, 2024

Hi Team,

I want to take a moment and thank everyone for the amazing trips being delivered.  The reviews and client feedback has been incredible.

I would also like to address the situation with a former employee, Nate Calhoun.  Mr. Calhoun’s employment was terminated due to repeated instances of harassment and hate speech; which was an ongoing issue not a one time instance.  While we value everyone’s opinion and, respect the concept of free speech, we have a zero tolerance for harassment and hate speech. We regard the comfort and safety of our staff and clients with the utmost importance.

We consider all of our employees to be members of our extended family.  We want to create a healthy and positive environment for clients and staff alike.  This is a space that we raise our children in, that we live, work and play in.  Tributary is a family, we won’t always agree on everything but we must try to rise above our differences, treat each other with respect and behave in a professional manner.  If we operate from a position of positive intent and exercise kindness we’ll be alright.

We want to make sure that you all know that our doors are always open. Please reach out to whichever member of management you feel most comfortable with if you have any questions about this incident, if you hear people using hate speech, or if you feel as though you are being harassed by a member of staff or the community. It is important to have an open dialogue about these topics and to feel safe and supported in our Tributary family.

Thank you,

Jeremiah Copper
