Tributary offers whitewater rafting adventures ranging from Class II to V with everything in between. There are experiences for all ages 4+, non swimmers welcome. There are lots of options for rafting on the American, Truckee, and North Yuba rivers, which either meet in Auburn, or within a 1.5 hour drive.

- Lower Middle Fork American River Class II/II, half day trips for younger kids ages 4-7*. April – September.
- North Fork American River Class IV+, full day adrenaline rush, strong swimmers and ages 14-16*. Free flowing, mid-June – July.
- Middle Fork American River Class IV, full day, swimming skills recommended for ages 14+. Delayed start due to road damage and high water, estimated July – September.

- South Fork American River Class III+, half day & full day trips, non-swimmers welcome, ages 7+*. April – November. 30 minutes S of Auburn on highway 49.
- Truckee River Class II-III+, non swimmers welcome, ages 7-10+*. May – September. 1 hr N of Auburn on highway 80 & close to North Lake Tahoe.
