4 days off the grid, on the river, camping with Courtney Hansen from the Sweetest Little Life

Unwind and rewild on this outdoor women’s wellness adventure retreat. We’re combining wellness activities – yoga, sound baths, massage and more with our 4 day Snake River Hells Canyon rafting trip. Your river guides along with Courtney, from The Sweetest Little Life, will take you on interpretive hikes, somatic releases, and more. 

About Courtney: She is a best selling author, podcast host, yoga instructor, reiki master, hypnotherapist, trauma-somatics healer and inspirational speaker. She helps women remember their souls purpose and return home in their bodies.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1

  • Meet 6:00pm @ our Halfway Outpost for meet & greet dinner with your crew and other guests. We will provide you with your dry bags for your gear to pack that evening. 
  • We suggest staying at the The Pine Valley Lodge. After our meet & greet dinner enjoy an evening at the Pine Valley Lodge. Breakfast the following morning is included at this location.

Day 2: 

  • Meet 9:00am @ Halfway Outpost
  • Shuttle to Hells Canyon Dam Visitors Center Put in, we will begin rigging the boats
  • rafting all day with a stop for riverside lunch
  • early evening we pull into camp where your tents are already set up for you
  • Evening activities may include yoga, massages, fishing
  • Appetizers, Dinner and riverside camaraderie

Day 3: 

  • Coffee, Tea and other hot drinks in the morning after you awake to the sound of the river
  • Yoga session & breakfast @ camp
  • rafting with a stop for lunch
  • arrival at camp for Massages, fishing or relaxing
  • dinner & camping

Day 4 – layover day:

  • Breakfast at camp
  • Morning Yoga session
  • Hiking
  • Mid-day lunch
  • Massages, fishing or sitting by the river
  • dinner

Day 5:

  • our final morning watching the sun crest the canyon walls as we sip coffee/tea/coco
  • pack up camp and start rafting
  • lunch
  • rafting
  • upon arrival at Kirkwood Ranch we will travel via Jet boat back to our outpost

What to Bring

Participants packing list:

ITEMS FOR ON RIVER 

  • re-usable water bottle – 32oz or more
  • shoes/sandals with heel strap (no flip flops, you can bring these for at camp)
  • sunscreen 
  • sunglasses (with a strap)
  • full sun hat or baseball hat
  • camera or cell phone (there is no cell reception, but you are welcome to bring your phone to take photos)
  • binoculars
  • fishing license (if you plan on fishing)
 

ITEMS FOR CAMP 

We suggest you pack your personal gear in a duffel bag (or similar type bag) that can easily be packed into a large dry bag while on the river. Your sleeping bag and pillow do not need to be in a separate bag. 

  • BYOB – you are welcome to bring you own alcoholic beverages (and mixers), we will safely transport these down the river for you

  • change of clothes (2-3 outfits for day/evening including comfortable hiking and yoga attire)
  • sweatshirt/light jacket

  • spare glasses/contacts
  • toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, chapstick)*

*Please be sure to bring only eco-friendly soaps and substances on the river

  • Expensive jewelry

  • 3 nights luxury riverside camping (tents and sleeping pads set up before you arrive at camp)

  • PFD (Personal floatation device / aka life jacket)
  • Helmet
  • Small dry bag for your smaller personal gear – for day use/access
  • Large dry bag for your overnight gear (duffel of clothes etc) – for access @ camp 
  • Fishing gear 
  • Top of the line camping equipment (tent and sleeping pad)

For Sunday evening accommodations, we have a secured set of rooms set aside, please be sure to contact them at (541) 742-2027 to make a reservation. Be sure to mention you are with Tributary Whitewater, this is not included with the trip. Breakfast Monday morning is included with your stay at the lodge. 

Tributary Outpost

For Sunday evening meet & greet dinner – meeting @ 6:00pm 

For rafting Monday morning – meet 9:00am river ready with all gear packed

Cancellation Policy – All deposits and final payments are non-refundable.  We highly recommend travel insurance that would reimburse you and cover unforeseen circumstances that might prevent you from attending after booking.
