South Fork American River Rafting

We anticipate water 7 days a week for the 2020 season, we will have final confirmation beginning of April. 2019 Schedule was based on a “Wet” year:
Before Memorial Day – Trips everyday!
Memorial Day – Labor Day – Trips everyday!
After Labor Day – Trips available Thursday thru Sunday

Middle Fork American River Rafting

Typically Mid-May thru end of September. Guaranteed flows 7 days a week. Although in high water Spring seasons the start of the Middle Fork season may get pushed out into June or Early July if flows are still too high. Rare all summer Class 4 experience.

Truckee River

The Truckee River Rafting season usually starts mid-May, but also depends on Tahoe snowpack and if there is still runoff. We usually operate on the Boca Run, but in times of high flows on that run we defer to the Verdi section of the river. The Boca Run is suitable for most participants, though its gets a bit more challenging at the end at lower flows.

This is not the same float out of Tahoe City. So if someone tells you there is “no” water or “too much” water in the Truckee make sure to call and check with us!!

California Salmon River

2020 trips will resume in April or May. These are free flowing and combined with the Scott River for an overnight spring rafting experience you will never forget. This is NOT a beginner trip, so get your group ready for this classic Class 4/5 river.

Burnt Ranch Gorge

(Class 5) on the Trinity River – Though its dam controlled, the Bureau of Reclamation schedule releases due to a “water year type”. Check back in April for best predictions. Definitely requires previous Class 4 experience and a Class 5 swim test will be given. In 2019 we had trips available in July and August!

Trinity River Rafting

STARTS EARLY JUNE! This river always gets cut back somewhat drastically in mid-July. After that the Lower Klamath is a better option and that flows well into September.

Lower Klamath River Rafting

STARTS EARLY JUNE! Check out our multi-day Family Special trips scheduled during the week for some great rates. The Karuk Native American Indian ceremonies that close down some of the best whitewater sections are usually sometime in August. Trips should still be available during the ceremonies but require changes to logistics.

Upper Klamath River Rafting

STARTS LATE MAY! We usually start running in late May to give the access roads a chance to dry out. The Upper Klamath is one of the best choices for great Class 4+ summer whitewater. It will run all the way through September allowing for 1-2 day rafting trips. Come join us in 2020 before the upstream dam removal scheduled for 2021!

North Yuba River rafting

Free flowing – Typically starts March and runs into May, sometimes even July if snowpack is high! Join us and find out why our guides love this river! 1, 2 and 3 day trips offering riverside camping on the North Yuba River.

North Fork American River rafting

Free flowing- Typically beginning trips in April and running into May, or late June in a high snowpack year! Great Class IV run and combo with the North Yuba or South Fork American for an overnight.

East Fork Carson rafting

Free flowing – Direct high alpine environment with trip usually running from April into June, early July trips are sometimes available when snowpack levels are high!

Upper Sacramento Rafting

A short season free flowing river – Runs in May & June. Come view Mt Shasta from the river!
