South Fork American River – Class 2-3+

Great for beginners, intermediate and return rafters! Kids welcome ages 7+ for Class 3 and 4+ for the short Class 2 section. 1/2, 1 and 2 day trip options available from April-September.
South Fork American River rafting trips.

Class 2-3+ rapids on the South Fork American River. This is the most popular rafting destination in all of California! Great for first timers, kids and groups!

Middle Fork American River – Class 2-4+

For adventurous first timers and return rafters! All participants must swim, kids ages 13+ (no exceptions!).

The Middle Fork American River in the Auburn State Recreation Area. 18 miles of Class 2-4 whitewater. This rafting trip is suitable for adventurous first timers and return rafters. All participants must swim and min. age for kids is 13. Combo this trip with South Fork American River for a 2-4 day rafting trip – camping and meals included.

Truckee River – Class 2-3+

Perfect for all abilities and ages (7+)! Closest rafting to Lake Tahoe.

1/2 day Class 2-3+ Whitewater rafting trip! A great run for beginners and return rafters. Suitable for kids ages 7+ and non-swimmers. Closest rafting to Lake Tahoe and Reno! Season runs from April to September.

North Yuba River – Class 4-4+

Amazing spring trips for adventurous first timers and return rafters!! Spring only trip.

Spring Rafting Trip! Majestic scenery with challenging Class 4 and 5 rapids, 1 day and overnight trips available. There are several runs on the Yuba River – Maytag, Moss Canyon, Rossasco Ravine, and a Wilderness Run ending in Bullards Bar. We have a private camp amid the tall pines for overnight trips. This is a great trip for Bachelor Parties and groups looking for a secluded camp.

North Fork American River – Class 4-4+

Best for adventurous return rafting with strong swimming abilities. Typically not for first time rafters. Available in the Spring only.

A challenging Class 4 spring run in the Gold Country. The North Fork American River is for adventurous paddlers, There are many large drops and boulder slaloms on this river which is not for beginners. Come and raft this section of river with Tributary Whitewater Tours and experience Chamberlain Falls, Bogus Thunder and more! Trips meet in Auburn, CA near Sacramento and Lake Tahoe.
