Rogue River Rafting Trip Announcement

Tributary Whitewater is pleased to announce that beginning in 2023 we will have the pleasure of offering guided Rogue River rafting trips on the Wild & Scenic Rogue River.  We are beyond excited about this opportunity and hope that we get the chance to share this truly special place with as many people as possible.  Starts and availability are very limited on this river and are limited to 10 guests at a time.  We look forward to our future adventures with you on this river.

The Rogue River

The Rogue River is Oregon’s third-longest river, flows through mountainous terrain and is home to 84 miles of National Wild and Scenic River. What are Wild and Scenic Rivers? They are specially protected rivers that are specifically known for free-flowing conditions, water quality and have remarkable scenic, recreational, fish and wildlife history values. These criteria led Congress to add them to Wild and Scenic River Systems and put them under special protection. The Rogue River was one of the original eight rivers designated in 1968.

In addition to being a Wild and Scenic River the Rogue River is known for its beautiful rugged canyon walls, world-renowned steelhead and salmon fishing … and of course whitewater rafting! We are so grateful that we get to run this river this season and to have the opportunity to share this experience with others.

About Our Rogue River Rafting Trips

Our four-day Rogue River wilderness trips will begin in southern Oregon, just outside of Grants Pass (50 miles Northwest of Ashland) and end to the west near Foster Bar Campground. During your four-day, three-night adventure we will run a variety of both rapids and flat water, all of which are suitable for ages 7 or older, non-swimmers and for families. Our guides will lead you down the river, telling stories, cooking meals and setting up camp along the way. You will experience world-renowned fishing, time with family and friends, and an on-water experience to last a lifetime! For more information on what is included and what to bring visit our trip page.

Summertime in the Rogue River canyon is truly a special place as warm water, sunshine and sandy beaches provide family and friends an opportunity to make life long memories.  Try floating in a raft, or working with a friend in a 2 person inflatable kayak.  Whatever challenge you seek or comfort level you desire can be found.

Logistics

How do we make this all happen you ask? The meeting location at Argo Riffle (Rouge River put in) is within driving distance of either the airports in Portland (4hrs) Medford (1.5hrs) or Sacramento (6hrs).  A shuttle company will securely store and then deliver all of our vehicles to take out on our last day.  Got a little time before or after your trip?  Check out some of the amazing attractions in the area including the Redwood trees, Crater Lake, Oregon Caves, The Shakespeare Festival and many more.
