TRIP OVERVIEW

Hiking the Rogue River Trail – Raft Supported 4-Day Trip

This unique trip blends hiking the Rogue River Trail with the convenience of raft-assisted wilderness travel. No need to carry all of that heavy backpacking gear – our rafts will do that for you! Plus our guides make all of your meals and set up camp each evening. A fun way to enjoy an off-the-grid trail experience! The well-known Rogue River Trail shows off the natural beauty of the area featuring scenic views, diverse terrain, and wildlife. Each day, you’ll hike approximately 8 miles of terrain (~30 miles over four days), with our rafts following you via river as you hike. During the hike, enjoy exclusive access to stunning river stops, meeting the rafts for lunch, plus you can jump in the boat if you need to take a breather!

Interested in upgrading the experience? This trip has the option to add private lodge stays, as an alternative to tent camping, combining an off-the-grid backpacking experience with all the comforts of home.

About the Rogue River Trail

The Rogue River Trail winds through a lush, mountainous coastal corridor with dramatic 3,000–4,000-foot relief, offering stunning panoramic views. The Rogue-Klamath-Siskiyou National Forest is one of the most ecologically diverse temperate forests in the world, hosting thousands of plant species with many found nowhere else. As you hike, the river serves as both a guide and a playground, its cool waters inviting you to rest, relax, or take a dip. This rare combination of trail and river access makes the experience truly extraordinary.

Upgraded Lodging

Visitors have the option to upgrade their stay from camping in tents to lodging at private lodges. While this enhancement is available upon request, it’s important to note that availability is not guaranteed. Interested guests can inquire about this option, and the Tributary team can assist in making lodge reservations. These lodges offer a more private and comfortable experience. To enhance your experience further, we recommend considering this option.
