TRIBUTARY WHITEWATER EXPANDS SPECIALITY RAFTING TRIPS FOR 2025
Yoga, exquisite cuisine, wellness, live music, fishing & hunting, and more – multiple new river experiences are available this rafting season
LOTUS, Calif. (Dec 9, 2024) – Tributary Whitewater continues to expand its whitewater rafting offerings with a range of distinctive river experiences for the 2025 season. Many of these exclusive excursions are available on the American River near Sacramento, on the Snake River/Hells Canyon in Eastern Oregon and on the Rogue River in Southern Oregon.
“We began offering specialty rafting trips a few years back, and the positive feedback from our clients has been incredible,” said Jeremiah Copper, Owner of Tributary Whitewater. “Each year, we are excited to expand these unique experiences. Our lineup now includes riverside yoga, fishing and hunting, live music, beer and wine tastings, and post-rafting meals catered by favorite local restaurants—and that’s just the beginning. We will be adding even more experiences over the next few months.”
2025 specialty river trips feature the following:
Women’s Wellness on the Snake River: Unwind and re-wild during this five-day, four-night Women’s Wellness Retreat. Put on in partnership with Boise’s True North Yoga, join Liz and Hannah on a journey of self-exploration and mindfulness through daily meditation, breath work, and yoga. Strengthen the mind-body connection surrounded by the beauty and power of nature. Enjoy massages, reiki and cupping from the banks of the Snake River, take a fishing lesson, hike to the site of ancient petroglyphs; all while forging new connections and friendships with likeminded women.

Flying Fish Company on the Rogue River: This special four-day, three-night rafting journey on the Rogue River combines whitewater excitement with gourmet dining, live music, and yoga – in partnership with Portland’s Flying Fish Company. Each evening, guests are treated to a dish crafted by Flying Fish, a restaurant renowned for its focus on sustainable Pacific Northwest cuisine. On the second night, Flying Fish takes the spotlight with a complete culinary takeover, delivering a fully curated and unforgettable dining experience. The adventure concludes with a final night at the exclusive Half Moon Bar Lodge.

Flying Fish Company on the Snake River / Hells Canyon: In partnership with Portland’s Flying Fish Company, this exceptional four-day, three-night Snake River rafting adventure offers gourmet cuisine, live music, and riverside yoga. Each evening, guests enjoy a curated meal featuring courses prepared by Flying Fish Company, a restaurant celebrated for its dedication to sustainable Pacific Northwest cuisine. The journey culminates with a full Flying Fish experience, where their chefs take over to craft an unforgettable final dinner that embodies their commitment to locally inspired, sustainable ingredients.

Fishing & Hunting Trip on the Snake River: This four-day, three-night off-the-grid whitewater rafting adventure on the Snake River through Hells Canyon offers guests access to world-class fishing and remote hunting grounds. Anglers can fish for trout, bass, and steelhead, which guides will cook up fresh. Guests also have catch-and-release opportunities with massive sturgeon, averaging 7-12 feet and weighing hundreds of pounds—the largest freshwater fish in North America. During fall trips, chukar hunting is available, with hunters hiking along the trails while boats follow along the river for support.

Yoga & Rafting Weekend Retreat on the South Fork American River: Partnered with Moving Deep Retreats this three-day, two-night wellness retreat is the ultimate riverside yoga, raft and camp experience. Friday evening and all-day Saturday features multiple wellness sessions on the banks of the river including: a sound journey, a variety of yoga practices, breathwork, DJ’s and more. On Sunday enjoy a whitewater adventure on the Class 3+ South Fork American River Chili Bar Run.
Two package options are available, a multi-day raft and yoga retreat or a full-day yoga retreat with Moving Deep Retreats.

One Day Yoga Retreat: $139 per person, Ages 18+

Wine Tasting & Rafting on the South Fork American River: The ultimate California vacation featuring two CA classics – wine country and white water! This two-day wine tasting and whitewater rafting adventure spends the first day at partner vineyards Boeger and Madroña wineries. On day two enjoy a whitewater adventure on the Class 3+ South Fork American River Chili Bar Run. Guests will spend two days of camping at Tributary’s private American River campground during their trip.

Craft Beer & Rafting on the Middle Fork American River: This two-day, one-night trip seamlessly blends whitewater rafting with a thoughtfully paired craft beer experience. Put on in partnership with Crooked Lane Brewing, and curated by the owner and brewer, Teresa Psuty, rafters will savor tastings of diverse array of beers throughout the journey. Guests will begin each day whitewater rafting the renowned Class 4 Middle Fork American River. In the evening, all will learn about the brewing process, Crooked Lane Brewing’s featured beers, enjoy a lineup of tastings and cheers to the river. The trip meets and ends at Crooked Lane Brewing, giving guests the opportunity to tour the brewery and see the process firsthand.

Dates: June 6 – 7, 2025
Live Music & Rafting on the Deschutes River: Hosted in conjunction with Shane Brown, renowned Electric Folk Rock musician from the Pacific Northwest, Tributary’s live music and whitewater rafting trip on the Deschutes River is the perfect blend of river time and live artistry. Over three days, guests will experience whitewater rafting combined with intimate, riverside music performed by Shane each evening.

Dates: August 8 – 10, 2025
Hiking the Rogue River Trail – Raft Assisted Backpacking Trip: This four-day, three-night trip blends hiking the Rogue River Trail with the convenience of raft-assisted wilderness travel. Tributary’s team will carry all the gear needed for a traditional backpacking trip while guests hike the trail that runs alongside the river. Tributary’s team prepares all meals throughout the journey and sets up camp each evening. This trip has the option to add private lodge stays, as an alternative to tent camping.

Dates: May 22 – 25, 2025
